Liminal Matter Gallery represents artists who explore the edges of thought, language and space. We showcase exceptional artworks that elevate any environment, transforming your setting into a place of inspiration and imagination.
What
The interaction between the viewer and the artwork is a form of "liminal matter."
When
Encountering art is finding yourself between two realities:
the objective reality of the artwork itself & the subjective reality of your own perception — feelings, memories, interpretations.
This moment of viewing and feeling is the liminal space an energetic, emotional, and perceptual zone of transition.
Why
This liminal matter consists of impressions, emotions and meanings.
It is fluid, shifting, intangible — like any liminal substance that exists between forms.
The artwork is incomplete without the gaze of the viewer.
And the viewer is changed through the encounter with the artwork.
What arises between them — this living, ever-changing field of perception and meaning — is liminal matter.
.MANIFEST
At Liminal Art Gallery, we strive to showcase art that carries depth and meaning. We focus on works rooted in thoughtful ideas, while also emphasizing positive significance — art that radiates uplifting energy and inspires those who experience it.
